Construction technology

The construction was affected by the fact that the building is located in a suburban area, which is very inconvenient for labor and logistics. Therefore, the bungalows are simple and prefabricated. The unit modules were built in advance in San José. The building uses pre-cast concrete, pre-cut steel, prestressed concrete panels, sandwich walls and roofs. These were made off-site and assembled on site.

Material and decoration

The architectural expression uses local colors, materials, decoration, lighting and connection with nature. From the inside to the outside, the bungalows hope to convey the tranquility of the forest, letting the sounds of monkeys and insects reach the balcony. The building adds the colors of river rocks and trees to the gray tones, giving these bungalows both the atmosphere of the rainforest and the imagination of the guests for a resort.

The transition from rough exterior to refined interior uses a range of white and other pastel colors, polished concrete, copper light fixtures, and rope textures. Each area has a unique finish. Windows frame the sky, vegetation, and wild landscape.
